Chambers Contracting, Inc. (“CCI”)/Chambers Custom Homes (“CCH”) is a Dublin, Ohio based General Contractor with a focus on niche residential and light commercial construction and development. Incorporated in the State of Ohio in August 2003, the company’s sole shareholder is Mark R. Chambers, President. Prior to forming CCI, Mr. Chambers was co-founder of Godfrey – Chambers Homes, Inc. (“GCHI”) which was incorporated in late 1996 and ranked 16th by Business First in the category “Greater Columbus Custom Homebuilders” for the year 2000. Chambers Custom Homes primary business consists of building high end, scattered site, single family custom homes on a “cost plus” contract basis. Due to numerous opportunities presented by custom home clients owning their own businesses, CCI has positioned itself to construct light commercial buildings as an additional service to these clients.

As previously stated, the primary focus of Chambers Custom Homes is the custom home market. Mr. Chambers has been building luxury and custom homes designed by various architects in Central Ohio since 1996. These homes range in size from 3,300 SF to 12,000 SF and vary in design from Contemporary to Traditional. CCH builds two to five homes at a time and our approach to building for homeowners consists of providing the highest level of personal attention during the entire building process from planning to completion. Our clients are very busy in both their personal and business lives; our job is to make the building process as painless and simple as possible. A homeowner should never have to argue with their builder over quality related issues during the course of the project. When building a Custom Home for a client, we use the Cost Plus approach with a separate checking account and open book disclosure of all costs associated with the project. I don’t like surprises and I don’t believe that our clients like them either. In that respect, I have used my past business background to develop budgets and estimates for clients that are reasonable and accurate given the described preferences and tastes of each homeowner. Many of the homes that we have built are featured in advertisements by several members of our build team.

Chambers Contracting, Inc. draws heavily on the relationships and past business experience of its President, Mark Chambers. He is a member in the “Registered Builder” Program of the BIA of Central Ohio which evaluates practices, ethics, customer satisfaction and financial soundness of members on an annual basis. Prior to becoming a homebuilder, Mr. Chambers was SVP and Regional Manager for the Columbus operations of a commercial mortgage bank based in Toledo, Ohio. Responsibilities included new business development, loan origination and closing, staffing and training and oversight of the Loan Servicing Department. Mr. Chambers other previous experience includes 14 years in Investment Banking specializing in the origination, negotiation, structuring and closing of public offerings and private placements of bond and note issues. Mr. Chambers, a Registered Builder – BIA of Central Ohio, still holds various securities licenses, is a licensed Realtor in Ohio and has served on the Board of The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium since 1988.
